By popular request, La La now has a dedicated Wedding and Occasion Choir. The choir has more than 30 members and they rehearse separately so we can brush up your songs even if we aren’t doing those in normal choir sessions.

How would having La La at your wedding work?

We normally sing at the ceremony itself. We sing as guests settle before you enter, sing you up the aisle. Sing during the ceremony and through the signing of the register (Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder is one of our faves!) We can then sing you out, do a last celebratory one after the registrar pronounces you husband and wife or just sing the guests out.

If you were thinking about booking us for part of your reception that can be done too.

You can have as much or as little as you would like. If you and your intended have a favourite song then Sam can see if there is an arrangement available. If not she may be able to write one for you which is a pretty special thing to have on your special day.

We normally wear black trousers and La La polo shirts as our wedding uniform but if you wanted the choir to fit in with your colour scheme or theme then that can be discussed.

Other occasions and what we can do

We are also available for birthdays, proposals, anniversaries and funerals. We have experience of all types of events and we try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible for your important day.

Having a choir at a funeral can make this most difficult but precious services more personal and memorable. We have had the privilege of singing at several types of funeral service and will work with you to ensure your loved one gets the tribute and send off they deserve.

Birthdays, Proposals and Anniversaries are the perfect place for a Flash Mob.

What’s a Flash Mob?

Well we hide ourselves amongst your guests either as other customers at the venue, staff that are working there or something similar. A soloist or duo will start and gradually the others singers join in and emerge from the rest of the guests or shoppers or people normally found at the venue of your choice. We have a huge repertoire of songs from all genres. We are bound to have the perfect one for you. If we don’t then just like any event, Sam can either find one or write one. It’s just the best way to surprise people you love!
