La La Choirs are so happy to be back after our summer break, it’s seemed like ages! To warm us up as the nights start to draw in, we’ve got a great mix of songs that we’re going to be trying out.

Maybe the 1980s conjures up specific images for you – Giant shoulder pads? Big hair? High-waisted jeans with espadrilles? Mobile phones like housebricks? Well we’re hoping to give you a taste of a wide variety of songs from that era (was it really nearly 40 years ago??), from cool New Romantic, through soulful ballad, via electro-pop and a bit of fun nonsense to, yes, some solid 1980s cheese.
